4/ Who May Receive Personal Data

We may disclose personal data where reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

  • payment or financial service providers, where relevant;
  • recruitment or HR service providers, where applicable;

Our principal technology providers currently include:

  • Vercel Inc., for website hosting and related infrastructure; and
  • Google / Google Workspace, for business email and related productivity services.

Where a service provider processes personal data on our behalf, we require appropriate contractual and organisational safeguards in accordance with applicable data protection law.

5/ International Transfers

Some of our service providers may process personal data outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”).

For example, Vercel and Google may process or store personal data in countries outside the EEA.

Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we ensure that the transfer is made using a lawful transfer mechanism under Chapter V of the GDPR, such as an adequacy decision, the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism, where applicable.

Google's current Data Processing Amendment for Google Workspace provides mechanisms for international transfers of Customer Personal Data, including appropriate contractual safeguards where required. Vercel also provides data-transfer safeguards under its current Data Processing Addendum.

You may contact us using the details in Section 12 if you would like further information about the safeguards applicable to a particular international transfer.

6/ How Long We Keep Personal Data

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.

In particular:

  • technical and security logs are retained for a limited period determined by our operational and security requirements and, where applicable, by our hosting provider;
  • enquiry correspondence is generally retained for as long as reasonably necessary to handle the enquiry and any resulting relationship, and for a reasonable period afterwards where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims;
  • client and business records are retained for the duration of the relevant business relationship and afterwards for the periods required by applicable Romanian tax, accounting, legal or regulatory requirements;
  • recruitment and unsuccessful applicant information is normally retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to complete the recruitment process and deal with related legal or administrative matters, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law or the applicant has separately agreed to a longer retention period; and
  • information relating to successful candidates who become employees or contractors may be retained as part of the relevant employment or contractual records for the periods required by applicable law.

When personal data is no longer required, we will delete it or, where appropriate, anonymise it.

7/ Your Data Protection Rights

Subject to the conditions and limitations provided by applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • request access to the personal data we hold about you;
  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
  • request deletion of your personal data where the legal requirements for erasure are met;
  • request restriction of processing in the circumstances provided by law;
  • object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
  • receive certain personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and, where legally applicable, request its transmission to another controller;
  • withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent as the legal basis for processing; and
  • lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.

Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before consent was withdrawn.

These rights are subject to applicable legal exceptions. For example, we may need to retain certain information where required by tax, accounting, employment or other legal obligations.

To exercise your rights, please contact us using the details in Section 12.

You may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in the EU Member State where you normally live, work or where you believe an infringement has occurred.
